Thank you for posting! That's a good option, too, if one wants to return part of the set (note the speaker and the starter kit need to be listed as separate items on the invoice for this to work). Also, I've *heard* that some stores are fussy about this; I've not tried it myself so don't have personal experience to share.

It looks like they don't let you select pickup of the bonus item, so it's more difficult to do the hack where you cancel one by not picking it up.

This item isn't eligible for online order Pickup within 100 miles of xxxxx.
Please make sure promotional items have the same delivery or pickup options and try again

What's the sound quality like on something like this? I'd guess that "job site" speakers focus more on volume than sound quality?
I don't expect it to match my Dali Katch but sometimes it'd be nice to have something with replaceable batteries.

Not great. I have the bigger m12 speaker and its fine for a small job site, but clarity leaves a lot to be desired, especially given the Mono design. This will likely be worse

I have the prior version of the M12 jobsite speaker. which, btw, has better features than this new one. runs in the batteries, can be plugged in, and it charges the batteries at the same time as well. i use it every chance i get if im working outside and take it back home with me every single day to play while i do garage stuff. now im not an audiophile or anything but it sounds just fine to me and it gets pretty loud as well. but again, that is the previous version.

Clearly not a Milwaukee bro! lol

IMO the JBL flips for the size are great and go on sale for about $60 in the past pretty often.

But BT speakers in public are pretty obnoxious.

My experience has always been opposite, they know people do this and they don't care, it's within the rules, I always take these reports of problems with a grain of salt, because I straight up asked the manager at the store I was at and he said it's fine.

On the Milwaukee tool deals Facebook I have seen more and more people are getting their online Home Depot accounts banned from being able to order online and some people reported is was their first time doing the hack so I just started selling everything I wanted to return on OfferUp for the same price

This is the one where the battery sticks out the top and looks really dumb right?
