...but yeah, I generally try to avoid the 5.0s in favor of the 6.0 HO or Forge 6/8Ah batteries these days. The CP 3.0 HO is a nice battery too, for when you want something to be a little lighter/less cumbersome.

I'm surprised the old 9.0 HD I got with my string trimmer almost 10 years ago is still going. Seems to tire out a little quicker with the blower than some fresher 8.0 Forge batteries I have, but it still works.

The 2.0s were great for the drills/impacts.. anything lightweight, like you said. The 5.0s were great for the blowers and the fans but I am sooo over the red/greens. I bought the Chinese fake crap and they lasted a few weeks and gave the same red/greens. I am at the point where I'm trying to find the best hackable deals for some new batteries.
