Does any of this Anker stuff compare to the CMF ear buds everyone seems to love on here? I'm interested in how well the mics works for calls as well.
I'm not familiar with CMF but Anker has been a go to bang for the buck brand for a long time. I haven't had this particular model, but had older versions that worked great. I prefer the L shaped air pod style buds for my use these days (more comfortable for prolonged wear, easier to put in/take out). I never had issues with the mics, and they stayed in my ears well. One thing that I particularly like about these is that they have push button rather than touch controls. Touch controls never seem to work as well as they should in my experience, whereas physical buttons are easy and reliable.

Just a curiosity question? Are there any US manufacturers for ear buds? If so, which ones? If not, why not?1800's 80% of Americans owned small businesses, now 4%, even Canada 6%, and more people rent than own homes as back in 1800's.
I've had two sets of these for several years now, and they've been very good. I actually spend most of my waking (and non-waking, if I'm honest) hours with one in my ear, connected to my phone, including while I'm running. Decent sound, solid mic, and durable enough to withstand some pretty tough abuse. It's also very secure in my ear while I'm running. Battery lasts a good while, even after several years.

ive bought both brands, CMF definitely has a lot better sound and more features on their app. anc was pretty weak on both brands although i think this set doesnt have anc.
both brands have great sound, but CMF is way above all of the other brands at this price range.
