I got the refurb deal from a few months ago for $200. I bought two because they were so cheap and it's been totally worth it. Both of mine seemed brand new when I got them. Even my skeptical wife was won over after a few weeks of the vacuums cleaning up after our cat that sheds horribly. The only complaint I have is that the obstacle avoidance is garbage. It won't avoid one of my cat's toys nor a USB charging cable so they both got caught up in the rollers at separate times causing the vacuums to stop.
I have one and I paid $400 - $500 couple years back (IIRC)... It cleans quite well and pretty good with object avoidance. Mapping is super quick too compared to pure camera robots.
I've had it since dec 2023.. I've pretty happy with it. It doesn't pick up the mop high enough so if you are using it over carpet and floor with mopping, you'll see some wetness on the carpet. So I either use it for vacuuming carpeted areas or mopping tiled floors. The app is great.. I can't imagine the roborock app being too much of an improvement.i bought it for about 500.. 300 seems like the right price.. recommend
Anyone got recomendations on this vs a refurb qrevo s for $390 on their official store? Mostly hardwood floors with some fur that needs to be picked up.
how is this compared to roborock? if anyone used both?
It's junk compared to it. Software is like it was developed in India or China and converted to English. It had more errors with running into and over things. Not as many software features. Cleaning power was ok. I had this one for about 2 weeks then returned it because it doesn't even come close to my qrevo pro. Roborock is worth the extra money.
I bought a refurbished unit on eBay for $200 couple of months ago. It came with a broken pump and wouldn't suck up dirty water in the dirty water tank. This would cause flooding in the washboard every time I used the mopping functionality. I reached out to Dreame and they refused to take it back. I got my money back with the Allstate warranty that was included with it
Got mine on the same sale. Mine wouldn't pull any clean or dirty water. Fixed it myself. The lines were disconnected at the top inside the base. Reconnected the lines that connect to the tanks and it's been working flawlessly since.

How did you open the back of the base? I unscrewed all the screws from the back, and tried to pry open the plastic back from the top, but wasn't able to. There was one screw on the bottom of the base station that had the sticker that said "warranty void if removed". So I didn't mess with it.Allstate refunded me $199.99 which is the cost of the device, but not the $17 tax that I paid on it
bought 1 a year ago, works great and still going strong. Bought a second a few months ago and it gave up the ghost recently. it was refurbished, and came with "warranty" from allstate I think. They had me send it in to be fixed, couldn't and they're sending me a check. I'll probably buy another one, but it's hit or miss with quality control, which is probably why there are so many refurbished ones available.
