Hi TheRedEyeBandit Not currently seeing anything like the Retroid Pocket 5 or Anbernic RG406H / RG556 at prices that compete with what they were recently; so I'd say it may be worth waiting for a future sale.

Of note, the Mangmi Air X [mangmi.com] Android-based handheld is causing a bit of buzz on the retro handheld YouTube channels [youtube.com]; but it's not out yet.
It'll be $89.99 retail at launch but 'Early Birds' can get it for $10 less (not sure how you qualify to be an Early Bird, however). Reviews claim that it does most every retro console up to PSP/N64/Dreamcast really well. As of now, the page just states 'Mid-September' as the release date. Worth checking into imho, if perfect PS2, GameCube and above aren't the goal.

If you are a heavy gamer, get a PC. If you want lite weight, switch/switch lite is still good(limited to switch games). If you want super small form for old games, get the miyoo flip v2, or rg34xxsp.(Miyoo smaller, rg34 better screen and build quality).
There's currently nothing both small form and powerful.

Maybe back before the pandemic. Goodwill is probably selling them on their own online store or eBay.

I agree it's hard to find good deals at good will any more. I found a 5 piece home theater speaker set that was slightly beat up for $60. I did get them to drop the price $10 but the subwoofer itself (the only piece I needed) was blown. I really only bought it for the plate amp which go for over $100 on their own and replaced the sub with one I picked up at the dump that came in an unpowered box.

just looked, seems like a loose psp sells for 25-50 bucks on their website. a psp with some accessories and games goes for 50-100 bucks.

probably a better thing to get imo
