This is a single person 3D, I think. Two people can't enjoy the 3D at the same time.

This is why the plain polarized glasses 3D was so nice. Alas, LG stopped making those.

yes, this is a fancy version of the nintendo 3ds glasses free 3d screen. I think these monitors have a camera tracking your eyes and adjust the offset to give you the 3d imate. I wonder if it gives you a headache after a while

In 2010, 3DTVs have peaked and started to decline around 2013. Since then, there weren't many breakthroughs except VR headsets.

back in the day I had a plasma unit with 3d. love those IMAX 3d nature blurays on it. Living Planet was almost like being there. and the tech I imagine has only gotten better.

I'd rather just go to one of those MagicEye picture sites and do a cross eye. Free-D.

So interestingly enough, research shows that when you get headaches from 3D content, check to see if it is depth, or the 3D that jumps out at you.
Many folks only get headaches from 3D content that comes out of the screen, vs. 3D content that is depth based.
My personal experience mirrors these studies, but per anything, YMMV.

I love my LG3D TV but this is a tough sell for being 27 inches and only working for one person.

If you're buying this monitor there is a good chance there is no second person you'd need to be sharing the experience with

I don't understand your comment. I have a 65" passive 3D LG TV and we watch select 3D titles with family all the time.
