Good if you need one now. Otherwise these will be like $5 in a month or so.

I think it's worth it to get their nicer 1 gallon model with the wider mouth. Easier to avoid spills. I wish they would make the wands much longer so I don't have to bend so much.

I picked this up in July for this price and used it for the first time yesterday. There is a slight air leak where the hose attaches to the jug, but otherwise it works just fine. I used it to get rid of weeds in the driveway cracks. One gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of salt, and 1 tablespoon of dishwasher liquid and the weeds are brown within a day. This worked great for it!

An air leak means it's not working properly, requiring more pumps and releasing poison around you. I've owned 4 of these and every last one developed leaks within a year of minimal to moderate use. Wouldn't buy again.

does anyone have one of these they actually like and lasts? I've bought a few of these type and they all break in some form or fashion after only a couple uses.

Do you use iodized salt or plain salt? And regular white vinegar?

In my experience, the 1-gallon HDX brand at Home Depot for about $12.47 w/ free shipping is a much better sprayer. The best 1-gallon unit I ever had was the HD-1 by Flo-Master (I ran over the hose/wand w/ mower), but I can't seem to find it anywhere online. This Chapin, I used from a friend once. Ain't much to it, IMO.
