I have this bike and am ordering two more. Super easy to assemble, well built, comes with everything you need besides a side view mirror. I have been ridding it to work daily. The pedal assist kicked in way too strong so I disconnected the PA cable and just use the throttle. I am 6'2" 200lbs and this things tops out at 26 MPH with me on it full throttle. The previous thread on this bike has so many people complaining about Ali express or other e-bikes so it's hard to read. If you are looking for a basic e-bike for an amazing price just buy this. If you don't like it you can probably sell it for $500 or more on Nextdoor after the 30 minutes it takes to assemble it.

But also... show me another way to get a new ebike for $320 besides these Ali deals posted here on SD. The ones for these ebikes are not publicly posted. Ali is looking to run a promotion with a US based company to help promote/sell. And SD is owned by Goldman Sach's private equity company. Do you think they weren't going to try to monetize? Accept the bias and read thru the noise on this site, this is the only way.

Fair warning: this ebike has a short wheelbase.

So... are we all just sitting around talking about a long-expired deal, or is there a new coupon code that people have been using to still get it at $320?

Best I can get it to is $353 using current-available coupons ($40 off)

Add something to get to 400 and use USKUN80
You might have to try a couple of different items to make 400 as the coupon seems a little picky on sale items.

Sadly USKUN80 is expired it says - "Sorry, the coupon code you entered is based on a first come first served basis and has been used up by other shoppers."

Try RDT64C

They might be account specific since both work for Me right now.

I ordered 9/22 for $385 - $64 coupon, without having to bump it up to $400, sadly I don't recall which coupon I used and can't find it in the receipt.

I did notice when i added it to my cart it showed as only 1 left (both colors) after purchase it was still available but at a higher price IIRC ~$414

Man....my wife has been wanting one of these. I haven't really shopped for one but people I've talked to have spent $1000+ on these. Winter is around the corner so it will likely sit in the garage until Spring ...will probably wait and research some more. Wife and I are both short and I'm less than 160lbs so I assume this will FLY with us on it.?

Everyone is welcome to post AliExpress deals now, as long as they are shipped from a U.S.-based fulfillment center.

The bike is steel, so it weighs around 70 pounds...flat ground with a full charge, you will hit 28. I am 240 pounds and I cruise about 26 with a full charge.. 20 to 24 the rest of the charge. If you are even slightly mechanically inclined, I suggest adding hydraulic brakes, which is the bikes greatest weakness. At 28mph it took me 4 car lengths or more to stop. Now I can drag the tires.
20 miles is what I got with no pedaling before I added an extra 20 ah battery with a balancer/combiner. Now I can do about 45 to 50 miles with both charged...no pedaling. (I am usually on the throttle alot)

same boat. My research so far suggests that these ones from AliExpress are probably the highest bang for the buck in the e-bike market right now, with the downside of having very poor warranty/customer service since they are all no name Chinese brands pedaling similar bike inputs at these prices.

personally, I'm hoping maybe there is some type of big sale going into winter perhaps one more of the season to pick something up even cheaper, otherwise I'll probably wait till spring as well, seeing as how the overall longitudinal trend is continued decrease in all ebike pricing due to continued lower input prices, primarily driven through the Chinese market. in the market for two bikes as well. Good luck on your search friend

One thing that drove me nuts with this bike is that I'm a big guy, and every time I hit a bump..the geometry in the seat with my weight being upright...turned the adjustment counterclockwise and loosened the seat!! A quick trip to get lock nuts and I reinstalled them inside the regular nuts fixed this.

My two biggest worries with these ebikes are:

1. The battery and electrical system: are these just generic parts I can order from Ali? If so, great but so far, I've not seen any such generic parts list

2. Small nicks and nacks: I fix random bikes for people from my area and a lot of these ebikes use wierd (at least to me) screws, nuts and bolts. I spend more time finding out what those parts are and how to get bits and replacements than fixing the actual thing shake head

Is there a forum etc where they try these ebikes out and share how to fix and modify them? Confused

The battery and electrical system are all replaceable. The BAD about fixing this bike is the rear hub. It is NOT standard because the bike has only a 138mm.dropout width. The standard for fat tire bikes is a 170mm rear hub. Urlife does not sell the wheel/hub. The motor is made by CZJB..its the 105CZ model 500w rated with a 20 amp max (so...48 to 50v x 20a makes a1000w peak).and they will sell you the motor only(not wheel).through Alibaba.and it takes 3 months to get. Then you have to split the hub casing and use your existing casing/wheel unless you somehow find the right rim and someone to build a new one. Anything else on the bike other than the wheels can be replaced through generic parts. Feel free to PM if you have questions other than how much are the tarriffs.
