Fall for what? Small lights get hot on 3.7v and turbo. You didn't even specify which version you had.

This is a well regarded flahslight.

Heats up on turbo mode is normal for a small light. Turbo mode auto reduces after 35 seconds. 550 lumes high CRI 519a 5000k neutral is my preference. Have both pokelit and headlamp h16. If you need turbo mode often Id suggest going up to maybe 18650 battery size. For Acebeam $9 shipped are good to go for entry flashlight, $23 currently on Amazon. Could have direct charging on the flashlight or magnet Pokelit but those are more personal preferences.

If you don't feel its worth $9, go to Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home Depot see whats available option/quality wise for same price or check out USA made brands then report back.

Im no fan of orange but something about this orange color is must have!

It's an ok light, wish it had Anduril, the power button is a bit weird to operate sometimes I have to cycle thru all the brightness to turn it on kinda annoying.
