The ball mounts here are permanently fixed, and non-removable. They can't be used with standard widespread ball mount bases. Which wouldn't matter much, if the include bases didn't suck. But the mounting bases are terrible. Seems like why it's on sale.
I used one of their pro ball mounts for about 2.5 years before the plastic broke. I contacted Spigen and they sent me a free pro mount even though I was past the warranty period of 2 years. I have had other positive customer service experiences with this company as well with their screen protectors that had cracked after dropping a phone with them on. I fully support a company that backs their products with great customer support and sells them at a reasonable price.

Yeah, maybe. But, this specific vent clip charger has a design flaw of soft rubber clip that prevents it from clipping securely to vents. That's why it was on sale.It is a good deal and I would have bought one if I could have mounted it to my known good ball mounts and stands.
