I have four of these, 1000W of solar, paired with Victron components in my Western Range camp. I'm well pleased with the performance of these batteries. I've been using these for over a month straight with no issues thus far. it's the same price I paid for, but on Amazon several months ago.

Anything special needed for settings on your solar controller?

Wanting to put some solar on a remote shed. Mostly for a small trickle charger to keep tractor batteries up to snuff. Can I ska you what brand of panels you went with and what model number of your Victron components you used.

Anyone know if this size would be sufficient to power a medium sized car audio system? A four channel with a mono block subwoofer amp? This would be a dedicated battery for the stereo only and would not interact with the car's electrical system. I do have a Keyline dual battery isolation kit so it would charge only while the car was running.

Medium is subjective when it comes to car stereos, but this is a 200A BMS system. That's a LOT of power it can handle at once. I'd be more worried about the load on your alternator.

I'd be hesitant to use any of these smart batteries given what Will Prowse has discussed in his last couple of videos.
That was a different manufacturer. Stop spreading FUD.

No. plays well with the Victron components. I'm also able to use the app to monitor and configure the batteries to an extent. but the battery will simply just work out of the box, configuration isn't necessarily required but I would recommend depending upon your situation. Be it boondocking or shore power you may want to make adjustments. The laptop with the Victron dongle is it considerably more robust, but I find the app on the phone to be sufficient to monitor The batteries as well as the Victron multi-Plus, solar controller, smart shunt etc.

I went with eco-worthy panels. I use the multi plus one over the multiplus 2 as I'm targeting 30 amps. The solar controller, Victron VE.Bus Smart dongle, smart shunt for batteries, DC to DC converter for my truck to trickle charge when on the road, I say trickle charge but it is considerably more than just a trickle charge, are all the newest Bluetooth enabled models. These components are impressive. I didn't go with the Victron cerbo GX for monitoring, as I use my foldable phone for such. I also have a handful of older large unused Android phones that I also use for monitoring. I realize you didn't ask about all of that :-)

what negative other than the over current protection did he have to say? seemed to me he was pretty positive other than OCP. if you have your own breaker it shouldn't be much of an issue.

In the eco-worthy battery app I'm able to see the cell voltages and the state of charge (SOC). My individual cell voltages are always close to each other during charging and discharging. This tells me that BMS is active and working. there really is no need for me to get out the multimeter. personally, I can also manually set the voltage in my smart solar controller, but I don't see the need, in my case. You likely should rewatch that video and strive to comprehend what is being shared.

I have four of the non-bluetooth version of these batteries in my home DIY solar setup. They are functioning flawlessly, and have been for almost 6 months now. Highly recommend for the price. Here's some pics of the setup and my BOM
