Gen II was on clearance? That's perhaps a mistake and great luck!

Looks to be GEN 1.

The PBLHM102 delivers 850 in-lbs of torque, with a speed range of 0–700 RPM in Speed 1 and 0–2,150 RPM in Speed 2. Meanwhile, the PBLHM101 offers 750 in-lbs of torque, with 0–500 RPM in Speed 1 and 0–2,100 RPM in Speed 2.

This is PBLHM101B, and 102B is at the regular price of $129.

I haven't seen a big advantage from this style of "hammer drill". If you need to drill through concrete and stone, get a rotary hammer and use SDS bits. Still, a decent deal.

It looks like it is likely in-store price only, based on the B&M in the title.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank ChrisFu

I've had this drill for several years; done jobs where I used this drill for mixing several 80lb bags of stucco, drilled 20 or so ½ holes onto concrete slabs, etc, gone through several 4ah and 6ah batteries at a time.
It worked well, still works well.

The newer model is supposedly better, but I think this one will work well enough, especially at $45.
Everyone should have this, even if as a backup. Ryobi doesn't get as much credit as it deserves.

Bought this in May for $69 (nice). It's an even better deal at this price.

Mines been solid for years. I've put it through a lot of abuse & it looks the part. Considered buying a backup at this price but on the fence because mine had been so solid.

I have this one, and the Hammer function is awesome for light duty drilling into concrete or stucco or cinderblock. The biggest bit tried was ~1/4" masonry bit, and it drilled like butter.

I totally agree, this is a great drill and while I rarely use the hammer function, it's nice to have and works really well. Most people don't need a rotary hammer or want to spend the money on one. If I have to drill concrete all day I'd rent one. Likely the hammer function adds some bulk but worth it to me.
