i charge my phone, my switch, my ally, etc all in the same place. This could remove 3 separate charge boxes. So there are many reasons.

Seeing the wattage is nice too, since I have a habit of not looking at the teeny image of a computer or whatever on a "dumb" charger and end up slow charging.

Charger consolidation if you have a lot of devices. It's also one of the few multi-port chargers that can power most laptops.

I bought one of these and it absolutely rocks. I have a tons of devices - tablets, phone, laptops, Garmin bike computer, portable battery packs, headphones, cameras, and it charges them all great. Love the screen and all the info and the ability to be able to monitor the wattage pull in more detail than I have in the past. I've had the USB-C cables with the wattages screens on them and this is much better.

I have it and it is quite solid. The only (not insignificant) drawback is the lack of at least one power outlet - it would be very handy for an occasional ad-hoc device.

I must admit, this thing is pretty cool, but $110 for a charging brick?

I bought a little 600 watt GaN box off of Temu for about $20 that does exactly the same thing, and has more ports, but it has no screen - and can't run Doom...
