FWIW, I did a Vine review of this item back in February and basically said they were packaged well and tested good. I've had some in use since then and still going strong.

3rd Place out of about 40 batteries on Project Farm.
Powerowl and ALLMax 1st,2nd place-- but more money per battery when factoring in this sale price.

Primary Cell, non-rechargeable.
Competitor/contemporary of the Energizer Lithium Max AA/AAA, etc. cells.

If you have an outdoor or in-freezer device that sees sub-0c temperatures, this is the kind (chemistry) of battery you'll need.
Alkalines and Carbon-Zinc (Heavy Duty) cells do not deal well with sub-freezing temperatures.

man I have some of those Amazon batteries and honestly it's just better to do the harbor freight buy an item and get a free 24pk of AA batteries. I go in 3 days and buy an item for $1 and get 24 batteries x 3 and I'm good for the year
Some devices aren't convenient to change batteries on so a longer lasting charge is important.

These may be perfect for the flume battery hack as it's high capacity 3500mA.

Flume is a water usage monitoring and leak detection device that's discounted in Northern California across different cities and counties.

That's one of the best uses for this style of lithium AA battery. But you can also get rechargeable 1.5v AA lithium batteries for a little bit more nowadays too.

About the same as tossing an alkaline AA in the trash...

The difference is. An alkaline if punctured probably won't do much. Lithium ion if punctured catches fire and almost nothing can put it out.

True, but a couple AAs in a trash truck isn't gonna set the entire load on fire. Energizer has been selling Lithium AAs for a decade or more now. Plus the gazillion idiots tossing their disposable vapes in the trash also haven't caused the end of the world. It's the idiots throwing larger battery packs in the trash, where multiple batteries are in series or parallel. Tool batteries, ebike batteries, etc.

They can be recycled like any other lithium battery. I have a collection bin for it at work.
