It's not a typo, click the link and read the product description before complaining for no reason.

interesting...it's not that much better or worse than a desktop Ultra 7, I wonder why this was put together this way in this case.

looks like it is mobile cpu base on this "Memory: 32 GB DDR5-5600MT/s (SODIMM)(2 x 16 GB)"

That probably also mean the cpu cant be upgraded. I wonder if they have such a surplus that they are going this route

Not a typo but a quick Google search explains that "the Lenovo Legion 5 uses an AMD processor, while the Legion 5i uses an Intel processor". So it's to help distinguish between what type of processor the computer is using.

One of my key issues though....MOST USERS won't Know they are getting a Mobile Ultra 9 and not a Desktop Ultra 9. I'm curious if it matters...I can't find any good Desktop Reviews...

The "275" looks very similar in all stats to the base 285....200mhz lower peak boost on the Power Cores.....and a few watts less on the max power usage...which would be expected since peak boost is lower. Other than that they are very very similar.
My initial reaction was this is almost deception...but based on pure specs.....i'm not sure its deceptive as I first thought. The 275hx should perform very close to the 285 and within a range difference one might actually expect based on the minor CPU number difference....
Can anyone FIND a desktop review? All my links are hitting laptops....

There is another discount for certain groups, like military, if you use the ID.me link. It's a little difficult to find.

That being said, the coupon codes above still work but do not bring the price down to $1679.
