Good time to pickup PCV valve, valve cover/spark plug gaskets, air filter, intake manifold gasket, a spare ignition coil, cam seal, crankshaft seal, oil drain plug gasket, radiator cap, and oxygen+mass air flow sensor if needed.

Toyota sells standard OEM pads and cheaper economy pads that some dealers will try to dump on uninformed buyer. Always stick to the OEM pads which are often cheaper after discount than Akebono pads (a Toyota supplier of brake pads).

Long life Toyota coolant is another scam. The metal in the engine will make coolant electrically conductive over time. This will affect the low level signal output of electronic sensors. Peak all vehicles coolant works great with a 30K change interval. Use distilled water if needed. Be sure to run the heater for a few minutes to remove the old coolant.

The Valvoline Maxlife ATF is another excellent substitute for Toyota's TV and WS fluids. I use Maxlife in all Toyotas since 2004. Again, stick to 30K change interval. If the transmission has accumulated more than 100K without an oil change, then drain and add only one quart of new fluid. Automatic works on fluid friction. A large change in value may cause slippage.

That's one of the reasons I don't like Toyotas. I have found that unlike other manufacturers, you sometimes can't buy an individual part, you have to buy the whole assembly. In general, it seams like Toyotas part prices are higher that most brands.
I agree with this. On our 2011 Sienna, the rear differential had a known issue with the bearing, which was a relatively inexpensive part, but you couldn't buy it from Toyota - had to buy the whole "viscous coupler" (so like $900 vs $50).

However, I will say in their defense that most people do not DIY, so they are factoring in labor hours in their part decisions (it was not exactly easy to remove the bearing in my situation and install the new one), so it *might* be the case that the average consumer saves money by Toyota selling the whole assembly vs the individual parts and having the tech have to disassemble/reassemble.

Again, I agree with the sentiment personally, since I DIY, but I'm just pointing out why they may have chosen to do it this way.

I don't use OEM fluid, but I change all fluids every 30K. New fluids keep transmission, differential, and power steering in good condition for +200K. Lifetime fluids lower the cost of ownership. Downside is big maintenance bill if you keep the vehicle for more than 120K miles.

Thanks, OP. I did a group buy with two other friends for cabin and engine air filters.
FYI, when you checkout, you will see the discount and free shipping separated. However, in my case, after I paid the order with PayPal, the discount got bumped up and the free shipping is listed in the order. Effectively the same total amount.

Most bearings are a standard size, so you don't have to by it from Toyota. The manufacter is probably printed on the bearing, like SKF, Timkin, etc.

every car company does this. unfortunately. I've had the same experience with BMWs for the last 25 years.
Some brands are worse than others. I would expect a luxury brand like BMX to be higher.

You car guys got way off topic, not about the deal Take it over to Toyota nation Wink
Be sure to check the prices at different dealers if they're close by. By me, one dealer is about 20% less than the other

Thanks for posting this! been waiting for a sale so I can order my GR corolla Brake retrofit parts!
Though this says free shipping (up to $200 value) I found in the past that if you're doing brakes, you will save some money by braking 😁 your front and back rotor orders into separate orders as they cost a lot of ship due to weight.

So true, bought a gas cap. Lexus wanted $58 for the same exact part number that Toyota sells for $33. Certainly makes you not want to buy another Lexus or any luxury brand for that matter.

One thing that people don't realize that aftermarket Akebono pads normally come with all the hardware including the anti squeal shims. If you bought Toyota pads you'll have to clean and reuse your shims and buy the hardware but if you want all new it comes out more expensive than pads from Akebono which is the same manufacturer of Toyota pads.

I also used Max life on an unserviced 100k Lexus sealed tranny (since my service advisor said it didn't need any service every time I asked) instead of WS since Max life is synthetic.

I can verify the Orlando dealer worked and actually shipped me liquids. Update when the order is delivered. The other dealer listed is YMMV!

Two Florida dealers and Savannah Ga dealers have been consistently first class and professional in their business on every purchase.
