Good time to pickup PCV valve, valve cover/spark plug gaskets, air filter, intake manifold gasket, a spare ignition coil, cam seal, crankshaft seal, oil drain plug gasket, radiator cap, and oxygen+mass air flow sensor if needed.

Toyota sells standard OEM pads and cheaper economy pads that some dealers will try to dump on uninformed buyer. Always stick to the OEM pads which are often cheaper after discount than Akebono pads (a Toyota supplier of brake pads).

Long life Toyota coolant is another scam. The metal in the engine will make coolant electrically conductive over time. This will affect the low level signal output of electronic sensors. Peak all vehicles coolant works great with a 30K change interval. Use distilled water if needed. Be sure to run the heater for a few minutes to remove the old coolant.

The Valvoline Maxlife ATF is another excellent substitute for Toyota's TV and WS fluids. I use Maxlife in all Toyotas since 2004. Again, stick to 30K change interval. If the transmission has accumulated more than 100K without an oil change, then drain and add only one quart of new fluid. Automatic works on fluid friction. A large change in value may cause slippage.

I find that my local Toyota Dealer started charging a handling fee for online sales with local pickup vs delivery. This wasn't like that when I used this sale around July 4th. Their "handling fee" is about 20% and capped at $45. They already overcharge MSRP compared to other dealers. Does anybody else see that with their dealer?

lexus too?
There is a sale for Lexus but it's only 20% of and free ship after $100. Either you can find a pn of Toyota in compare to Lexus to save some $ or you can go direct with them with the 20%. However, sometimes there might not be a comparable item in Toyota for a Lexus part 🤷

Can't you just order from another dealer? Not all dealers have the lowest pricing. World Toyota in Atlanta usually has some of the lowest pricing but I've also noticed that there are some parts that aren't discounted when compared to other dealers.

thanks op, finally bit the bullet and got a replacement brake pedal pad for my 1998 tacoma. Some parts id rather have oem for a perfect fit, but for some reason $17 shipped was easier to finally go for than $30. Thumbs up

If you are looking for parts, check out https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com/.
They were actually cheaper than all the Toyota dealers I checked online. Just put in your part number and for most maintenance items you'll find them. I usually shop Toyota dealers for my Lexus parts but this time it's the opposite.

There are no other local dealers for me, and the closest dealers that participate in this sale are too far away. The question was more geared toward if anyone else was experiencing this "handling fee" for local pickups. The other dealers I checked do not, so it much just be my local dealer that's doing this.

Oh I see. Are you firm on local pickup only? Why not take the free shipping?

I just checked that dealer and they were more expensive. I compared it to https://autoparts.miltonrubentoyota.com It looks like belllexusnorth has the final part price already advertised, but Toyota dealerships don't have the 25% discount applied until it is added into your cart. Perhaps you did not compare the Toyota parts with the 25% discount applied yet?

Why would they be pissed? You don't think they deliver to dealerships also! They deliver much heavier things than that!

Question from a Noobie: Which OEM pads do you recommend for 2020 Camry and where should I purchase them from?
4 or 6?

4 or 6 cyl...04465-0E060 front, 04466-0E070 rear.

Put old shims in glass Ragu jar, fill with gasoline, and work outdoor +50 ft from open flame. Use toothbrush to clean shims. Add some grease to lubricate points of contact (shims and brake pad). No need to replace rotors if car doesn't shake during braking. Wipe disc rotor and brake pad surface with alcohol to remove oil.

Take pics of old parts before removal to ensure correct re-assembly.

Nice deal. I'm usually buying at a discount from my local Toyota but this is nice with 25% off the already discounted price. Looks like I won't be needing to do my Amayama Japan order after all.

I can verify the Orlando dealer worked and actually shipped me liquids. Update when the order is delivered. The other dealer listed is YMMV!

Two Florida dealers and two Savannah Ga dealers have been consistently first class and professional in their business on every purchase.
Should get my order soon.

Can anyone vouch for Tuscaloosa Toyota linked previously in this thread? They're prices aren't bad. I'm ready to place my order, but have only ordered from World Toyota in the past.

Edit: Nevermind, I decided to go with World Toyota. They provided good service last order, and promptly replaced an item that was omitted.

Thanks OP, repped +4. I ordered new upper and lower ball joints, sway bar links, bushings, blower motor, transmission fluid, and miscellaneous hardware for my old 2000 Tundra, which I bought new. Now, I'll be good for another 250k miles. The parts were only $610. Saved almost $600 off MSRP. I see a new project on the horizon.
