Then you bought a different model then I did, this was the same model they introduced in 2022 the same one I have, Heat pump and dehuey features, You can use wayabck machine and check costco's website around august 2022 and find the same model sold for 279 on sale down from an introduction price of 339$.

Have had this all summer, it's been a work horse. Cools down the 250sqft living room it's in easily while having guests over (7 adults, 4 kids) , had to crank it up a few times during movie nights too. Helps when the projector & receiver are on, it can get hot. Also cools down the neighboring 121sqft dining room. Recommended. Now that it's cooling down in Wisconsin, let's see how the warming does before temps drop to turn on the furnace.

I got the Costco one too and 2 out of 3 of the ones I bought barely cool. I can't imagine how many people bought them and think they're fine when they're absolutely trash.
The moldy 20yo Frigidaire I replaced cooled 3x better than this one.
