nanoleaf has been doing this since 2012. It started of ass kickstarter. Brands like Anker, Govee, and others started after seeing the popularity for the nano lights. Even the phillips hue started around the same time as a potential competitor to the nano leaf.
Both are expensive and my personal preference is not to have so many different brands of lights, so I went with Govee
