My Instacart+ membership expired 3 months ago and I was waiting around for a good membership deal to come around.

Free Instacart+ Membership For 3 Months with Eligible Mastercard & $10 Instacart credit for each of the three months when you use the same Mastercard for purchases

Also, if you turn on Auto-Renew and pay the $99 membership fee after the 3 month period, you'll still keep the monthly $10 Instacart credit, basically making the membership more than pay for itself if you're a regular instacart shopper.

YMMV this may not be available for every Instacart account

I got in on this offer a long time ago. I didn't auto renew, I bought an annual membership with a discounted offer at some point after the free 3 months was cancelled.
Anyway, my annual membership expired several months back, and I thought I lost the $10 a month credit. But after waiting for a good offer for an annual membership a couple months later ($20 for the full year, which I believe is a common offer), the $10 a month credit is back, even though it didn't say anything about it on the membership renewal page. Make sure that you use that same MasterCard to pay for the membership and that credit may stick around even without auto renewing, if you choose to wait for a discount offer.

Sweet! This was on my special offers section. I have the $20 for the year deal a couple months back. I used a Privacy Card on my account during enrollment which happened to be a Mastercard and it still worked! So in case you don't have a Mastercard - you can just create one with the Privacy app.

Just FYI, after signing up, I saw this message: "$10 monthly Instacart credit with your Mastercard
Applies to second order each month as long as you remain an active Instacart+ member enrolled with an eligible Mastercard"

That is true for orders without coupons. That's said pickup is still a good deal when they have promotional coupons.
I had several 40 off 80 coupons from Kroger for pickup. That was a very significant discount even with the 10% or so markup that Kroger added. Also Instacart has very good AI customer service, for small mistakes or issues they would usually refund you right away with credits for the next order. (assuming you are not abusing the policy by doing it too often.)

My experience with Instacart is that it is expensive if you use the delivery service but it's still not as expensive as say UberEats or Grubhub in terms of markups and customer service is better. The pickup deals are sometimes incredibly good and hard to refuse if you order close to the mimimum amount required for the coupon.

It has always been that way for the Mastercard deals.
The Chase version is much better especially with the No Fee Marriott Bold.
Chase Instacart credits are applied to the first order every month.

Well that would have been good to know 15 minutes ago. laugh out loud I have the Chase offer and a Chase SWA card too. Hopefully it's still there in 3 months so I can take advantage of both.

Thanks! This worked on my account that doesn't renew until June next year:

$10 monthly Instacart credit with your Mastercard
Applies to second order each month as long as you remain an active Instacart+ member enrolled with an eligible Mastercard

Can confirm it doesn't work for active instacart+ members. It still shows in my offers however.

Can also confirm the similar $10/month offer through chase does not work for their Amazon card.

Confirmed, had Instacart + in past and used Capital One QuickSilver Mastercard. Created Virtual card via Capital Portal so I can lock it as well.

Confirmed it shows up. I added a MasterCard but it does not extend my membership end date by additional 3 months like adding a second Chase card does.

so.. you added mastercard to your current instacart+ and it worked for $10 credit?
edit: thanks, just added mastercard to my $20/annual accounts and was able to redeem offer. yeah, coupons offers have dried up since going +, this should help.
thanks OP.
