I have 3 of these. My favorite jacket. Versatile, comfortable, they turn into a little bag for storage as necessary and my older one after a decade the zipper stopped working, Patagonia replaced it free.

Really wanted to love these, but the fit is awful for me. It's so boxy and wide, especially the arms. I'm 6'2 and 240lbs, usually I wear L or XL in these types of jackets, even with the L I feel like I'm swimming in it. Arc Teryx on the other had is a much better flattering fit for me.

Well yeah, form follows function in outdoor gear. If people wanna wear this for casual use, they have to accept that

I'm always surprised at this price point when quality non-syn down fill isn't used. I get that its an ethics thing for some but then, why spend this on cheap materials, you can get a synthetic jacket anywhere for 1/4 of the price? For example, eddie bauer has light weight premium down puffers for $80 regularly and your getting quality down. This is from a backpackers rather than a style or brand status perspective.
