These are $25 a set at Harbor Freight, and $21 at Amazon - A really slick deal from Menards.

-Contains 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4", with 1 standard post and 1 deep post in each size, providing a wide range of storage space

--Metric: (1) 1/2" drive, 10 mm-27 mm; (1) 3/8" drive, 6 mm-20 mm; (1) 1/4" drive, 4 mm-15 mm

-SAE: (1) 1/2" drive, 3/8"-1-1/4"; (1) 3/8" drive, 1/4"-1"; (1) 1/4" drive, 1/8"-5/8"

This is Menards, so it's Brick & Mortar only (no free shipping). They charge you $1 to go pick your item and put it in Will-call; so obviously, go find the tool isle yourself. They had 100s of these stacked up in the center isle next to the tool boxes.

You also get an additional 77 cent in-store rebate, too.

Since all these socket organizers seem to be made from the same mold, in the same factory; note that really thick walled sockets (like cheap impacts) might not fit all the way down on the posts.

So you might consider these organizers to be mostly for Chrome sockets....ymmv.

(I haven't opened the boxes yet to check)

You were right, my impact sockets that I tried 1/4 and 3/8 both had issues fitting in this.

I tried a variety of 1/2" impacts to see how they fit.

Matco & Wright fit no problem. Some old Pittsburgh were tight on the 11mm and 23mm, but did fit.

I guess if they don't fit for some brands, just put the socket in upside down (square drive side down).

I didn't have enough 3/8" impacts to do any real testing, sorry. Some random 8, 10 and 12mm all seemed fine.
