It's obviously a good price for this many pieces. But when that socket splits or rounds-out balls deep in a heavy job, you'll wish you bought a brand name. Been there, done that.

Yeah I would say, if youre going to limit yourself to household projects, bikes, or lawn mowers this might suit the task pretty well, but if youre working on a car especially doing anything important like disassembling/reassembling the brakes, not a chance. Sets from reputable brands arent even that much more when they go on sale, why bother with this?

I love project farm but there's a flaw in the plan. Brands can change manufacturers of methods that substantially affect quality (good or bad) and still keep the same SKU/ASIN.
Don't get me wrong it's a great resource dude's providing but it can't be the only resource

I haven't used this product, but my experience with a similar product using a drawer case wasn't positive. The drawers stick, you have to yank them open, sockets fly everywhere. The drawers are PITA.

I bought this specifically for the drawers. I didn't want to get a clam-shell that would have pieces flying everywhere when opening if it didn't secure properly in the little nubs. I've seen several variations of these drawer setups. I'm hoping it'll work well for general around the house maintenance, and miscl. light commercial use with odds and ends.

I've got two clamshells. The Dewalt one has a bit of the issue you're describing. The Kobalt one is perfect. Got it in a clearance sale for $20 years ago, and it might be the best $20 I've ever spent.
