The downside with these seems to be that the cartridge/paper packs are very expensive for a 2x3 print (like 40-50 cents per 2x3 print, similar to zink). You can get the previous model of the bigger 4x6 selphy printer used for pretty cheap and its cartridge/paper packs come out to like 30 cents per print, so if you're willing to print 4 2x3 photos on one sheet and cut them, using the 4x6 ones comes out to 7.5 cents per photo which is less than 1/5 the cost. (Of course, if don't need the portability and you're willing to wait until you have a bunch of printers and don't need dye sublimation you could also just print a lot of 2x3 photos on one 8.5x11 sheet with an ink jet printer.)
That said if you really want a highly portable printer that can print 2x3 prints, once you get the device, the cost per print is similar to zink and the quality is a lot higher so if it's between a zink printer like the canon ivy and this, it might be worth spending the extra money on the printer.
