I have the regular UDM-Pro, love it... and often wish I has this for the PoE ports but man that's still a lot of money for a prosumer router. But this is as good as the deal gets I think.

For now I uplink to a USW-60 and that's good enough, just not as clean =)

This is a pretty good deal on something that rarely goes on special, from what I know, but I could be wrong. It is so tempting to upgrade to this from my older, but still working, Dream Machine Pro. I don't need this. I don't need this.

I haven't gone through Newegg in over a decade I dislike them so much but this deal my very well bring me back for one last purchase.

Was going to drop 300 on an 8 port 10GB trendnet but will absolutely pay an extra 125 bucks for this hog. PoE, Ubiquiti suite, SFP+ ports, space for a hard drive....

Does this thing even have a fan? Surely it must have a fan but I don't see a fan exhaust / intake anywhere in these pictures. If this honker is fanless I would have picked this up at full price if I knew about it.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, it's not 10GB across the board, which makes sense.

No ragrets with my UDM Pro. It gets better with updates. Now my parents and my office have ubiquiti too.

Wonderful to see this deal since my ER-4 recently started giving me trouble.

I was wondering how this stacked up vs their newer gear.

Just a heads up to check the Return Policy.
"Return for refund within - Contact Manufacture for Assistance"
"Return for replacement - Contact Manufacture for Assistance"
"This item is covered by Newegg.com's Manufacturer Only Return Policy. Read full return policy for details."

Anybody want to comment on whether a UCG Fiber + UNVR Instant (announced today) would be a better combo?

To be fair, they only have 3 in this lineup:
UDM Pro
UDM Pro SE
UDM Pro Max

Hardly "long in the tooth" too.

I have the SE, it's a beast, love it, and glad I got it over the base UDM Pro for the POE ports and 2.5gbps WAN port.

Why would I get this over a Cloud Gateway Fiber? Ubiquiti's product line-up is unnecessarily confusing sometimes.
