"Heavy Duty rated for 10A/16AWG" <~ wtf? The only thing heavy duty on this is the BS marketing. As another above post mentions, this is good enough for a radio, Christmas lights, maybe a fan. Extremely light duty usage.

Most companies that sell cheaper cords tend to rate their products as "heavy duty" based on the build quality (thick sheathing), not load ratings. Its not like there is a standard they have to follow for the term.

Power tools and other higher load items will generally need 14awg or lower to function properly.
If you are using this for light duty applications like lights etc.. you should be fine, but something to keep in mind.

There are branded cables on Amazon, 12AWG 50ft that sell for $25 if you time it right. Their typical price varies day-to-day from $45 to $55
There is one brand that sometimes sells their 12AWG 50ft for $17 but it sells out really quickly at that price.
Don't DM to ask but the deals are there.
