thanks. my takeaway from that thread is that it isnt really worth getting
I ended up snagging it and so far im happy with it. Its not the best performer in the fps/battery life category, but it feels really nice in the hand and the speakers are solid. Its also "good enough" for the games Im using it for, so as an entry into the handheld space, im good with it. The price was essentially the "used market" price for it but its new. If/when I want to upgrade, I shouldnt lose too much money on it.
