Looks like a great deal, but the recent reviews and issues, especially with the network drivers, have me at "Pause" on this.

For $50 more you could get the gigabyte b550m wifi 6 + Ryzen 5500 bundle, I didn't check the reviews on that board but the 5500 gotta be worth $50 to ya

I have this motherboard. it does have wifi/ Bluetooth issues with the adapter. I've had it about a year now and doubt they will honor any kind of warranty and doubt they will replace the adapter for me.

Thanks. This is one of the motherboards I had my eye on. Bought one with my Amazon Visa for some cash back. Will be very good for my new budget AM4 build.

If your current motherboard is working fine, I would just wait until you are ready to upgrade to AM5 or a different platform.

I was considering this board because my MSI x370 has a dead RAM slot so I'm stuck with a single stick at the moment.

Edit: ALSO, if you change your motherboard in your current system you'll probably need to reactivate windows (and may have other driver problems) so it can be kind of a PITA too.

Hmm the problem that i have is micro stutters even when scrolling in the browser, after some troubleshooting (even upgraded from 16GB to 32GB Ram) and research i found a russian article where OP had the same microstutters and the cause was b450 chipset not working correctly with ryzen 5000 series. After that I'm considering to change my mobo cus R5 5600 + RX 6800 shouldn't stutter that much in games like CS2, Minecraft etc.

I get those microstutters on my pc sometimes too, usually goes away when I restart it. Now I have another reason to look forward to my new mobo 😁

Could be a zillion things causing micro stutters and it's a pain to throw a ton of parts and money trying to track it down.

I have one of these in my work PC, I have an asus rog b450 on my home pc. Both can't enable XMP with 4 sticks of ram. My b450 can run full clockspeed, and xmp timings if set manually. This board needs to run at 3000mhz (xmp is 3200mhz), and much higher timings to even boot into windows.

I received the motherboard today, and Amazon shipped it in just a plastic bag. There was no outer cardboard box or protective padding of any kind. Just the original Asus packaging wrapped in a plastic bag. Is it normal for motherboards to be shipped like this? I'm a little concerned.

There don't appear to be any major dents or damage to the Asus packaging, but one corner of the box looks a little bit banged up. Haven't opened it up yet to inspect for any damage to the motherboard.
