to be clear, i am in the market and have been debating between DIY or buy it. the price pt at which i am doing DIY is surely going to be far higher than what i am getting at Amazon?
Waiting on Microcenter to out-do this deal. Double dog dare.
Not sure why Microcenter don't have any competitive deals for mobos lately. 5 years ago I got an Ryzen 2600x with Mobo for $130. Almost 3 years I got an Ryzen 3600 with mobo for $100 and now nothing. Last November I got a Ryzen 5800x with 32gb of memory $130 from newegg. I am guessing that Newegg is cleaning house recently.
I picked up this deal, thanks for posting. Can't really complain for the money, however it is the pcie4. Not a deal breaker though, there is not much difference between 4 and 5 for gaming.

It depends on what you plan on using your computer for. A mini-PC like the one you posted is fine for typical office work, watching videos, very light gaming, light image editing, and other basic tasks. A DIY machine can obviously be made much more powerful, and is better suited for heavier tasks, like higher end gaming or video editing.
