These sunglasses will work if I decide I might like to go fishing today, otherwise I will allow the sunlight to penetrate and burn my retinas without them.

The point is they are polarized sunglasses for under $5. when fishing polarized lets you see through the glare on the water surface better.

But obviously they seem like a great value for polarized sunglasses that you don't need to worry about if losing or breaking or lending to someone.

I know this is a highly personal style(or my lack thereof) and preference choice but these Ozark Trail sunglasses are my standard issue at this point. I've spent good money on other sunglasses only to have them break, get lost etc.
I stock up on these things and they're everywhere -- backpacks, gym bags, garage, my truck, my wife's car, my son's car -- everywhere.
If I lose or break them, it is to be expected and and I don't worry about it now.

Love polarized for fishing or even just being on the water. Went on a canoe trip last year with cheap Amazon polarized glasses, could see right down to the bottom, saw every fish clearly. 25+ years of glare off the water fishing and simple sunglasses fixed it.

These are fine. I get several of them every few years and put them in the car and by the door. Nice to have sunglasses that can be destroyed/lost without it being painful financially.

So, when you go fishing you need to wear sunglasses for a few reasons:

1: It will allow you to see "under the water" better because it removes a lot of the glare
2. It prevents literally burning your retinas. Water reflects sunlight, which drastically increases the amount of light entering your eyes. I've known people who literally sun-burned their eyes because they spent too much time staring at the water(which is literally what you have to do while fishing)
3. Sunglasses work really well as eye protection from flying objects like lures and such. Its not a hugely common issue, but since you are wearing them already for the other two reasons, might as well wear them for this reason too

I agree with this sentiment for these sunglasses as they are polarized and have all the essential features expensive glasses would have but no worries about losing, breaking or lending them out.

That's right. I picked up my order today and it looks totally different. They gave me a brown colored one in sports style with no underframe. I will be wearing them for driving, so not too picky on the look. The lenses are very clear, much better than those stylish cheap sunglasses from Temu.

Haven't stepped foot in a walmart in maybe a year. Maybe I'll check these out and check out the side shows.
