Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your perspective.
We'd like to clarify a few things:
This is actually the lowest price in our brand's historyfor the Ascent paddle, and it will remain the lowest moving forward. The Ascent was our very first paddle — it defined who we are as a brand. As we've grown, we've developed more advanced paddles and also created a clear direction for the next generation of Ascent. The upcoming iteration will be stronger in every aspect, yet we've decided not to raise its price.
Because of this, we felt it was only fair to offer the current Ascent at a much better price, as a way to thank those who support our brand and enjoy our paddles.
Although we are still a young brand, we are deeply passionate about this sport and continue to refine our products with care. For players new to pickleball or those looking to try a high-quality carbon fiber paddle, we truly believe the Ascent remains a valuable choice.

You are incorrect.

This is a great price for what it is. I think this is the cheapest it has been.

But still better than the cheapo paddles found at target, costco, etc

Please stop, these paddles are terrible and it's the normal price as they run deals daily. It's no longer a deal if they keep giving coupons for the same price.

last price on these was $40, so this is 25% less. I personally only played tennis, not pickleball, so I am not sure if this is good or bad, but ty for the feedback, which helps others!

This is definitely a good deal, per Keepa it frequently goes on sale for $50 but hasn't really gone lower than $40 from what I've seen. I picked up this exact paddle this last spring and it's definitely a huge upgrade from the cheapo starter set paddles; it hits really well, materials feel high-quality, and includes several extras including a nice paddle cover and a mark eraser. Well worth it at $30 IMO

I personally own this paddle. It's a great price for a paddle with good grit and an aero throat. As with all my paddles, I add on lead tape to improve the sweet spot and overall feel of play. Don't knock it unless you've hit with it at least a hundred times. If you can find a better paddle with these specs, please, please post your slickdeal so we can all benefit.

I don't see any shilling going on here. Not at all. Absolutely zero shilling. I feel like this is probably the best deal in pickleball history.

"Warping" is probably not the best name for a pickleball paddle but for the price I'll try this I've been playing consistently for 5 months now and improving. Been using a cheap wood paddle so willing to try

Don't buy this junk. If you want something in this price range, there's a reputable brand called Friday that has $50 paddles that will perform and hold up better. Move up a little more to $70-80 and my recommendation is the Spartus Apex. Move up to $100 and now you have a paddle that can compete with a $300 paddle, the Ronbus Quanta -- you just need to add a couple pieces of lead tape on the side to properly weigh it up.

Price basically means nothing once you are at $100...all of these paddles cost $15-20 a pop to make.
