The real question is why anyone pays attention to the regular price (MSRP). With any product, someone in the market should have an idea what that product actually sells for and be able to determine if the sale price is a good deal or not. These shorts work out to $3.50 a pair, which makes them about as cheap as you will find anywhere.

On the surface looks like an okay deal if you are in the market for shorts.... but tell me why normal price for Large is $70 and normal price for Medium is $25???? Deceptive.

Sometimes they base "regular price" mechanically on computerized determinations of what that SKU actually sold for in the last x days. I do not know if is possible they had sales on Medium only or something like that in the relevant period?

What happened to Walmart's selection of Russell's shorts from 4 years ago? They used to be so much better. Now they're the cheap of the cheap. It's hard to find any online that are not deceptively thin.

Edit: I FOUND THEM. I'd been traveling and stopped in at a Walmart and found that they had the exact shorts I was looking for. These are the ones that are modeled after the Fabletics shorts, originally made by Russell, but are apparently now made by Athletic Works (Walmart's clothing brand). They're only slightly different than the Russell brand (although appear the same quality). Only $9.44/pair and an amazing price at that. The SKU is 512780350, "Athletic Works Men's and Big Men's Active Mesh Shorts, 9" Inseam, Sizes XS-5XL"
