i don't own this but i think it's going to have heating problem with all wires tighten together. don't use this indoor.

You're not supposed to operate it without fully pulling the cord out for this reason. That being said I'm sure most people don't follow that instruction.

Never knew that but it explains why mine was tripping the breaker over and over

It also affects the lifespan of your cord. Don't try to pull a lot of juice while it's coiled up.

Yes.
I don't have this model, but my previous one said something like "1200W fully unwound, 200W max when coiled".
It will act like any other electrical inductive coil.
