I own a couple of Lexus vehicles and have been on Slickdeals for years. Not sure what you're trying to say. Lexus is a Slickdeal when you consider how long they last and what the resale value is.

That 20% off probably still doesn't make up for the markups

Is this happening with other dealer websites or just a particular one?

It was just 1. Here is the really strange part. When I look up my dealership in Twin Cities, MN, the price for the parts I need is 921 and the same parts when I chose a dealership in Des Moines, IA is 598 (with free shipping to me) . This price difference is absolutely insane and makes me wonder how the dealers in MN are ripping us off.

Some dealers don't participate in the online parts ordering system with Lexus, which is why you're seeing the huge difference. I wouldn't be too concerned about finding a dealer within your immediate area.

Check your part number on the two dealers I recommended in the original post. I've noticed that Treasure Coast is 1% cheaper than Prestige on a random sampling of different parts.

I always go thru the different dealer websites before I buy. if you have enough time to click on each 1 you usually can find 1 dealer that will be way cheaper. I did this for a blower motor and saved me 25% off. took about 15 minutes. copy and paste the part number into the search function makes it easier

Honestly I think the best bang for the buck is the Mazda CX-50 hybrid right now. All the guts are Toyota (RAV4 engine, drivetrain, powertrain, hybrid battery, and axles) but the design is Mazda, Suspension is Mazda, interior is Mazda.

best of both worlds!

The shipping cost will shave off $100. Some of their shipping cost like $300+ for the over size part. Check your local Lexus dealers to save money on shipping.
