Well it's also pretty funny to listen to a white Anglo Saxon like me try to trill my r's when attempting Spanish. In my humble opinion people need to get over themselves, lighten up and laugh. If anything the condescension is in the belief that the Japanese people need an outsider who I stuck up for them. They are very capable people, certainly capable of avoiding Lululemon if they believe their name is racist. The other complaint is their CEOs comments on childhood labor, which are at the least, open to reasonable discussion. Easy for us 1st worlders to find fault when it is not our own families that need everyone in the family to contribute to provide the basics of food and shelter. If you want to argue abusive working conditions, I'm right there with you...but it is not our place to tell other societies to live by our own cultural standards, when those standards are entitled by a dramatically higher standard of living.I'm feeling a little sheepish getting on a soap box on Slick Deals of all places, but felt the other comments warranted a balancing perspective.

The founder of the company picked "Lululemon" because he thought it was funny watching Japanese people try to pronounce it. https://thetyee.ca/News/2005/02/17/LuluCritics/

Amex has offers as well as chase, check your cards and if never ordered they offer 15 percent back as first discount. Not horrible for this overpriced stuff. Also do not forget elevated CB offers.

What're you talking about, dude? First of all, there's a big difference between just listening to a White person roll their Rs because they're trying to learn a language, it's an entirely different thing to intentionally make fun. Second, I'm Asian, so I don't know how exactly I'm telling another society to live according to your conditions or thinking I'm an outsider.

Or is it just like a White person to tell me not to be offended about a racist joke made at my people's expense?
