*The ratings we use are Survival Temperature Ratings, this is the coldest temperature the sleeping bag is designed to keep you alive in, but it doesn't guarantee comfort. At the lowest point, you might be shivering or experience discomfort. For comfort ratings, we suggest adding 20-30 degrees from the listed rating.

I feel like temperature ratings should be legally mandated to be listed at the ISO standard. I suspect this 0 degree bag is likely comfortable to 20 degrees but they don't list the rating scale for their products.

Does this ventilate well? If you get gassy, does it come back up?

You can always add a liner to make it warmer without much bulk:

Purchased one of these a couple years ago for a bit more and think it's definitely worth the price, certainly not ultralight or small enough to be suitable for backpacking, but a good price for a car camping sleeping bag that has kept me warm and comfortable with overnight lows in the mid 20s, I bought a second when it was this price a few months back.

2.9lb for short wide 20 degree. does anyone know if these claims are accurate? I was just looking at REI trail made 20 and their 20 degrees Short Wide - Left Zip: 3 lbs. 4 oz. the price is almost double.

Life pro tip - If you're getting one for a girlfriend or wife, always get a lower-rated bag than you think you might need. A friend of mine used to use her 17deg bag pretty much all summer because she was just always cold.
