Thanks for posting this OP .. not 100 percent sure someone step in and correct me if I'm wrong.. but looks like the model number is IdeaPad Slim 5 16IRH10R

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/ideapad/ideapad-slim-series/lenovo-ideapad-slim-5i-gen-10-16-... [lenovo.com]

(click on full spec list pdf)

which in turn leads to this based off my google search

I could be wrong but.. looks like only one m2 drive slot? Not a complaint mind you a lot of laptops fall into that category but worth noting for someone who prefers two m2 drive slots for extra storage, to save files onto the second hard drive so if you have to restore windows from a previous backup you don't lose files on the "C/Windows" drive and so forth. Not sure what the maximum size m2 drive is you could install on it.

Also if the link above is correct for this model looks like both ram sticks can be replaced... but no idea how much you can upgrade the ram to beyond the 16 GB it comes with (honestly I think 16 GB should be enough for your average user pretty sure this isn't meant to be a gaming laptop for example )

I have a 17" idea pad 3 from 2020 that I've been very happy with, at this price it's a nice upgrade in every aspect. Even the screen size isn't a big loss because this is 16:10 vs my 16:9, more RAM better modern processor touch screen and backlit keyboard. Thanks for the post.

I am seriously considering this. I don't do any heavy processing like gaming, but do 3d print. Currently using an old 4GB Surface laptop. It works but isn't fast.
Any reason not to buy this? Anything else worth looking at in this price range right now? Thank you for the advice!

3d print is very light on CPU. this laptop is more than enough for you.

Any recommendations on a cheap-ish laptop with 2 slots?

Passmark CPU score near 20000 also, and upgradeable RAM, pretty solid deal. Most the name-brand 16-17" laptops we've seen around this price have had 8gb RAM worse screens and much worse CPU. I picked one up.
