My only problem with the lifetime warranty is it the models change over the years so the replacement might not be as good as the original. I had a nice rubber gripped ratchet that failed after 10 years or so & they replaced with a lesser value non rubber gripped item. Better than nothing I suppose.
I went through my tools years ago and threw out almost all my fixed head screwdriver and replaced them with a single multi-tip ratcheting screwdriver plus a decent precision tip set. Between this and my cordless drill, I have not used a fixed head screwdriver in more than 10 years
