My biggest complaint with Apple!!! They sell memory for more than 400% above suggested list for any other brand of SSD. It's just nuts.

to be fair, an external could attach right to this and give as many TB's as you need. even better have a dedicated NAS. but it's worth it for the build quality, it will probably last 8+ years

Running AI models here. No, not 235B models, but most don't need that. Serious work? Editing video and audio on the base model. It's $499. Got mine for $450 (months ago).

Got this on the steal of a deal at MC for 383 open box. IMO I think a deal on the base model is the most worth. I have an iPad, older m1 MacBook Air, and a windows desktop, and I am surprised at how much I am liking the Mac mini. Turns out I really don't need the portability of a laptop as much as I thought, being at the desk is just fine for this. Love having so much IO, can't remember when I've had this much IO on a Mac. For Displays, it outputs 4k240, 4k120, and 2k144hz absolutely no problem, that's so impressive! I mainly do passive things on the Mac mini, any real intensive work I use the windows desktop.
If and when I end up not using the Mac mini on the daily, I intend to explore of making it have NAS like capabilities, saw a few YouTube videos on it and looks pretty interesting.
Definitely get it, didn't know until getting it but love the Mac mini! Esp if you have the extras in your setup. Might get the Logitech mx keys on Black Friday.

On the M4 Mac Mini? You do. You could run 3 TVs in 4K quality through streaming on a M4 Mac Mini (if you wanted to.) It's completely silent too, I have yet to make it spool up its fan.
