I'm happier with my current setup: a 4070 Victus from BestBuy for $850 right after Christmas. The model is basically the same now. The keyboard is mushy and springy, but battery life is impressive for a gaming laptop. The screen isn't very bright, though usable, and the big bezels don't really bother me.
It has just one SSD slot, so I upgraded to a 4TB Samsung with no issues. RAM comes as 8GB in two sticks—better to sell them and move up to 24x2=48 or 32x2=64GB DDR5, but upgrades add up in cost. At some point, it may be smarter to go for a supreme-quality, well-built Lenovo Legion Slim with a 2TB SSD, soldered 16GB RAM, and an extra 24GB Crucial DDR5 stick—that's a cleaner, long-term option.
