Wow, 20 dollars off MSRP if you buy something way more expensive than 20 dollars! GPU prices are finally reasonable again!

Super deal, because I paid $1,200 for mine a month ago. Love the card and excellent cooling- but not to mad because I don't have a Micro Center near me at all-

Other way around, the supers will appear when the existing models are almost sold out. Nvidia doesn't like to have their cards go too much below MSRP.

Until Nvidia drops the super refresh on Thanksgiving Day, and then goodbye black friday deals along with the entire market for another 8 months.

But these cards will drop in price even more? They won't cease to exist once the new cards come out

I bet these will be a much better value than the new cards once the new ones come out

I ended up getting my whole computer for $1,400 with a 4080 super on black Friday. i7, 32 GB of RAM, 1tb storage.

It's definitely not what I would have built if I was purchasing part separately 😆 but couldn't resist the price haha

There isn't a large backstock of Nvdia GPUs sitting on retail shelves. This will slowly drop in price until the super comes out, then it will limited to no inventory available so the price will be maybe $100 cheaper than the super variant.

Not that I like Nvidia's price scheme, but this card was not MSRP of $999.99. That was for an FE edition of the card or the lower model PNY card which has been selling at the $999.99 msrp at BB for a while now. This card is the more expensive bigger brother. So it is actually fairly discounted. You can debate the value in general, but it technically is a deal.
