Can claim the rebate buying at Staples using rewards and many people have Walgreens Cash to spend.
I have asked P&G previously if the rebate would be honored if I purchased Tide, using my rewards @ Staples. They told my No. So, I guess it is a crapshoot...

It's not a crapshoot, it will not work. WHY?
Because when you use rewards at staples it applies it to the actual products purchased.
Thus is you bought $51 in Tide and used $50 in rewards, it would show the price of the Tide as $1. P&G counts discounts and coupons against the $50 requirement.
Same at CVS with Extra Bucks.
However, at Walgreens, using walgreens cash acts as a form of payment, not a coupon on the line item purchases. the price you paid doesn't change on your receipt, so you're good to claim the rebate there.

ha! You're right, what I posted should have said CAN'T, not can. typing too fast with no coffee on a Sunday morning not a good idea. I was replying not realizing my typo.
