That's not a huge markup over retail for building it yourself, but it's still a markup.

It's basically no markup at all. Splitting hairs at best. Honestly, at this price point I'd rather order it and see what parts they give you... have a good chance some would be better than what you could build for the price.

If you're really pinching pennies, the no sales tax thing is kinda big too. Definitely don't think you can build this for the same money if you count sales tax on the parts.

I don't have anything to do with these guys man. I found about this website from some other posters on SD. Spent too much time jorkin around putting a new build together today (not related to this deal) and decided to check their site after I was done.

Just trying to save these guys out here thinking some Lenovo with a 265k in it for $1800 is a great deal. I'm a man of the people

Has anyone ordered from them? I've seen a lot of positive reviews on reddit... but scared to pull the trigger

The vast majority of people don't want to bother with building their own.

you may be able to get slightly better price if you have MC close by. otherwise for a pre build PC this really is pretty impressive.

unfortunately I only build ITX system and have some requirement for the cases, but i have been looking at part price lately and I honestly don't think i can do better than this for the spec, even if you consider getting the gray market windows license.

Yeah... the case alone is $83 [amazon.com] which isn't expensive but it ain't ultra bargain basement either. I'm guessing the RAM is something like TeamGroup 6000 CL 36 or 38 but it's not something absolutely bottom of the barrel because it says it's "ARGB" - so it's not like G.Skill Flare or something. Motherboard is probably something pretty bare bones though with only two RAM slots so I'd definitely do the $50 upgrade to 32GB if I took a shot on it. Even so though, the most barebones B650M is like what, $120? Cheapest 850 gold PS is like what, $85? No one's getting this done for that price, especially without sales tax. Don't care what the morons above are saying...
