Wish I could've got this deal. This dehumidifier has been working great for roughly half a year so far. Real test is after one year where most of mine die.

I also bought it a few weeks ago for $180. What do I need to show them?
Just go to the returns desk and tell them you need a price match. If you have the receipt, it'll make it slightly quicker, but the purchase is linked to your membership, so they can just pull it up. You can also find the receipt in the account section of the app under "orders and purchases". You'll have to click over to the "Warehouse" tab if you purchased in-store.

Ordered one in-warehouse for $190 on 5/30. App lookup is showing $130 now. Wonder if I can get a price match......
Based on a recent attempt at a price match (for a $30ish item), no, you can't get a "price match". The Costco employee told me that their computer systems can only do a price match if the purchase was less than a month ago. For me specifically, my purchase was like 40 days old, so the employee told me to go purchase the same item at the reduced price, and then go to customer service to return it using the previous receipt.

Because Costco has a lenient return policy, I would think you can *technically* do the same thing as me (purchase and then return).
But your previous purchase was 4 months ago, which is much more than 40 days so YMMV.
More importantly, just be aware that many retailers do keep track of each customer's return history and I've heard that Costco may cancel your membership (and ban you forever) for flagrantly abusing its return policy.

these things suck but they all suck to be honest. Best to get it at Costco so you can return it when they don't work.

this doesn't fall under the 90 day policy so she can just return the old one with the new one

I bought one of these refurb'd and really like it. Large tank and works well however it is loud. Granted I am using it in my 160 square foot home gym that's a converted storage shed. Before humidity was in the 80s and keeps below 50%. It's my first dehumidifier so not educated on sound levels but for that space it's fine.

Wow! Hope I can get a price match from a couple months ago. Lots of issues with the humidistat. Still $189 at my Costco.
let me know if you have any luck....I bought mine about 4 months ago. I won't have a chance to get to Costco until the weekend.

We've had two of these for two years. They work well, not terribly noisy, but would not use in bedroom.
