If it ships from a USA warehouse, you won't have to pay any tarrifs. This does ship from a US warehouse.

Have put a decent amount of miles on these now. Not bad for the price! Cheaply made but no real issues.

I would not buy a bar of pure gold for 1 dollar from aliexpress. They pretty much stole a little more than 160 dollars from me. I even used paypal and they took aliexpress side supporting the theft. I still have the proof of the theft. Yes if you give money to anyone and they do not send the item then it is theft. Buy from aliexpress good luck with getting your item.

Sorry I just keep seeing these aliexpress deals posted and it is sad.

Fyi - any ebike with more than 750W of motors is a class4 e-bike. This is an electric off-road moped.

https://bikexchange.com/electric-bike-classes/

Class 4 are forbidden on roads, sidewalks, multi-use trails and only to be used on unpaved off-road trails. Some states require a license and registration to use class4 bikes on the road. Some jurisdictions are cracking down on "e-dirt bikes" like this.

And FYI, not having the bike class labeled is itself a violation, as is "performance does not match labeling". California and NYC are actively cracking down. California has been impounding bikes, NYC is setting speed limits of 15mph on bike lanes.

While you're not wrong, I think that for the vast majority of users it won't be an issue, especially if they're using common sense. The crackdowns are really for riders that are riding irresponsibly, especially for those that are on Surrons (the ones that are basically electric dirt bikes that don't even have pedals). Ride responsibiy and use your pedals in busy areas, and you probably won't draw a second glance.

Bought this bike and Amyet has horrible customer service. I received a really bad unit. Brakes were squeaky and locked, rotors warped and wheel didn't fit in the dropouts. Also, the controller is only capable of 20A so it's max is 1000W not the 1500W peak they market. Seller is really hard to work with. Trying to do a chargeback now. If you get a good unit, I'm sure it's a solid deal but beware

What did you buy and not get.? J haven't had any issues even with the scammy sellers shipping a fake product to wrong address on purpose and marking delivered. But super curious how they got you

and know that you've decided that if you do get caught and they take your bike or give you a ticket, it's on you.

I can't answer for cr250r1, but my experience has also been poor.
The computer denied my claim that the wrong item was shipped. Over a dozen CSRs said variations of "it is what the computer decided, I can't do anything." They exhausted me, and I wrote off hundreds of dollars.
With another incident, the item was broken. The package was crushed with prints from the forklift tires. Again, the computer chose to deny, even when photos were sent. CSRs were worse than the computer. Again, I wrote off hundreds of dollars.
I would rather pay more and have an opportunity to speak with a person who can make an informed decision.

Don't ever trust PayPal to take the side of a buyer! They make their money from sellers and con you into thinking you have protection!

Why aren't Ali express deals banned on here? There's way too many fraudulent sellers.

Because of the sweet, sweet kickbacks this site gets shilling for them. Make no mistake, aliexpress is essentially a crapshoot, no matter what anyone says.
