LTSC is meant for people who value reliability and consistency without constant changes.
And honestly, how many new features do we really need in Word? Most people use the same core tools anyway.

What do you mean? If I turn on AutoSave in my LTSC word program and log in to OneDrive it autosaves the docs to OneDrive.

You can copy the XML block for "ProPlus2024Volume" (ProofingTools not needed), and run the commands and described. It installs silently, so the office apps are present after the configure command, and can be activated on first run.

I don't really bother those 'new features' from MS... Often times these new features are much more annoying than useful, as they might break or interfere your usual workflows that have been refined to efficiency...
I think the same core features all I need already existed more than 10 years?
Activation is done 1 way - code checks out on Microsoft or is not genuine and is practically and legally a piracy. Got it still?

In other words, it should be supported for several years before it no longer receives any security updates.
As others have said, these are gray market keys that are not "legitimate" but will work.
With a little Google'n you can find sites that give you the same guides how to activate that without giving these random resellers who aren't authorized to sell these to consumers.
