Check the non-VINE purchases --- reports of the legs breaking. But then again, that's what you get for a $5 stand.

Look, there's one name-brand stand that's considered the definitive high-quality stand. If you value your tech, put it on an Allsop stand. That brand has been around since 1964, and is considered "the best".

Apples and oranges. Those looking for a cheap $5 stand aren't going to want to pay for a $30-50 one.

Then let your multi-hundred dollar monitor or $1k+ all-in-one fall down and shatter. Hope you bought the extended warranty with accident coverage!
Well, first of all, there are a million other things you can use a shelf for.
Second, I haven't seen a monitor that weighed over 44lbs in years. Regardless, it's 3.9" high. I doubt anything is going to shatter.
Most importantly, remember your audience. You're on SD homeslice. I'm sure it would hold up my $10 yard sale monitor just fine. 🤣
