I bought one. I like to replace these every 6 months or so. Seal always seems worn at that point
Probably an indication that a better brand would be more suitable. I've had my Zojirushi for 5 years.

Agreed. I have several daily use Contigo tumblers that are in perfect shape...the youngest one is 4 years old 😁

I'm sure you eat out at a restaurant and use the utensils, plates, etc. it's basically the same thing but probably even worst. You shouldn't be judging what people buy.

I'm having a hard time believing a SDer is replacing $45 cups every 6 months... Seriously, what are you doing to them? I have cups that are 3-5 years old, I have Stanley thermoses that are nearly 15 years old...

I legit have a contigo that I use almost daily since 2010. No issues.

6 months is insane. M

If the inside is stained from tea or coffee, you can use baking soda, dish soap and a little water to make it new again.

I mean I basically only use the one cup all day long every day. After 6 months no tumbler seems to hold up as well as it did brand-new. Paying $13 for a new one in 6 months is really not as big of deal as many here is making it seem? I don't know. Yeti, hydro-flask, doesn't matter they all have seal wear eventually which makes deals like this awesome.

Lol if you think I'm paying $45 for replacements. I also only tend to use one tumbler daily and rewash it everyday. I don't think I have ever paid more than $15 for a new tumbler.

I mean worst case scenario it has a scratch or something in shipping. It's not really "used" and even if it were try some hot soap and water? Cooties aren't real.
