Good bundle on an excellent product, but this was $56 on Amazon for most of the last 5 months. This price represents a slight increase.

I've got these and they are a good value and work well. Had a real world successful test the other day. I had a drippy sink and it set off the monitor and emailed me notice. Thankfully nothing serious with my sink.
Definitely worth $60 vs the cost of unnoticed water damage.

My homeowner's insurance policy by Farmers requires that I have a water leak detection system installed by a licensed plumber in the coming months and submit proof via photos and an invoice from said plumber. Does anyone know if I could get away with buying this and having a plumber install it?

I have had these for 2+ years, they work great. make a super loud noise if activated, message my phone and send me a email. I put them under the kitchen sink, sump pump in the basement, next to the hot water heating, next to HVAC systems, near the main water line coming into the house. its fantastic peace of mind

I am not sure why this is posted as a "slick deal" when Camel Camel Camel has indicated that the price has been $56 normally since release and only just now increased to $60. Where is the "slickness"?

There is no installation required. What you can do is have a plumber come and inspect it and give you signed document saying that it works.

Just the amount of sensors you can add per hub. Old ones like I have iirc you can up to 16 sensors where newer version is 64 or something like that. These should be standard equipment in any home just like fire extinguishers and smoke detectors. Fwiw this system will alert on condensation as well.

What they really want is not only to detect it but to shut off the water supply automatically if nobody is around. This system will not do that. You'll have to look into something like YoLink for a DIY solution that does not require a plumber.

Agreed. I've been using the exact bundle for two years or so. Rock solid. Battery life is so good I thought the battery indicators were incorrect. lol.

I researched this to an embarrassing level and learned these are the upgraded version of the original (that used to allow only a few to join the hub), but you can now join more than you would care about (90+). The benefit of these over the square ones is these batteries last 5 years while the square ones only last 2, but the square ones have two extra sensors on the side that these don't have. For my use case I preferred not having to change AAA batteries on 12 devices every two years so went with the posted version. They have already gone off once because of our freezer and reported immediately at the first drips.

I expect the price to be lower for Black Friday, but I recommend the product This model (1s) is my preference over the model 2, unless you need the super-long wireless range of the 2. It's also better than the model 1 because it supports more than 10 sensors.

PS If you think you'll never need more than 10 sensors, think twice. Once you realize how great these are, you'll want them everywhere:
Under the hot water heater
Under the dishwasher
Under the refrigerator
Under each toilet
Under each valve (faucet hot, faucet cold, water filter, instant hot, shutoff valve, etc)
And if you have radiators, you'll want this under each of those, too.

I have these and they're fine. They work as advertised and let you know right away if they detect water in a hard-to-reach spot.

However, I also have several old school Leak Frogs. Even simpler.... small devices that run off 3 AAA batteries that seemingly last forever. They have two 'trodes, and if both come into contact with water, completing the circuit, the little guy sings his head off.... I have a three-story 4000 sq ft house and even through doors and walls and floors I can hear one of these bad boys no matter where they (or I) are located.

Been using them for 15-20 years. Got 'em off Woot, and though nobody has a time machine, if you DID they sold for $7-8 each in bundles of 2 and 4.

Not everything needs a Wifi connection to just work.
