I got this the last time, same price. It works fine adding BT to my old non BT avr. BT range is just ok for me when having it in a window and controlling it from my deck which is 15/20 ft away.

Don't confuse the 5.1 Bluetooth for Surround peeps. This is stereo only.
I would suggest shopping around for ones with digital outputs.

If used with the my stereo setup (audio only), how does the sound compare to chromecast, which uses wifi and sounds superb imo? I'm dismayed thought that many apps (like radio garden) do not have chromecast built in. Obviously I cannot use chromecast with apple music either so I am pretty much stuck with Spotify.

Thanks for the tip and noticing that it only has analog outputs; stopped me from buying.

The 3.5mm and RCA Composite jacks are not going to be conducive to clean and interference free sound for sure. Would be nice to have either an optical or HDMI output at this price...

I've got a Chromecast Audio and I can't tell a difference. The CC is buggy through Spotify and Pandora. It seems to lose its signal. I've got this version and the 1Mii B06S+ with LDAC, and honestly the OP sounds a little punchier. There's no bass extender on the LDAC version.

well-known and certainly purposeful bug at amazon. you apply the promo code, and then hit refresh on the browser to make it visible to you.
